             As I begin as the Director of the Rocky Mountain Region Ferrari Club, I would like to express my thanks and best wishes to Jim Walters.  Over the years Jim and his lovely wife Debbie provided me and my wife Crystal with encouragement and support but most importantly friendship. Following Jim’s reputation and legacy are going to be a tough act to follow. Jim is now moving up as the “Chairman of the Rocky Mountain Region.” As the director, Jim created new and various activities, represented the Rocky Mt. Region nationally as the treasurer, participated as a concourse judge locally and nationally,  and was instrumental in putting together the very successful  Ferrari Club of America’s Year 2000 Annual Event, better known as FCA-Y2K.  The enrollment of our club increased as Jim reached out to new members and went the extra mile to make them feel welcome.  I know because I was one of those new members nine years ago. As I noted before, Jim is going to be a tough act to follow, but I am sure the other board members will surely provide the adult leadership needed to keep me on a steady course. Bob Gower, our Vice President is also moving on to be succeeded by Peter Taylor. (If ever adult leadership is needed it will surely be with Peter).  I also want to thank the other board members that will provide the thread from the past to the future:
